cost per head=£I was treated
Very impressive set up that reminded me of many of the better class steak joints that I've been to in the US. 5 of us had a corner table in the dark, atmospheric and moody restaurant. Romantic in the evening, weird at lunchtime when it is shining bright outside and 30 degrees C.
They show you the various steaks on offer and it is all top quality Argentinian Beef. We bypassed the starters and went straight for the meat, ordering a steak each. I went for the 225g filet steak, cooked medium rare. You can choose from a number of sauces on the side (I had spicy tomato) and thin or thick cut chips. We also ordered a selection of vegetables to share. Service was excellent throughout and the food arrived about 15 mins after ordering. My steak was perfectly cooked although the chips were a little disappointing - basically chunks of potato slighly undercooked. Steaks start at around £10 and head up to the £30 region, depending on size and cut. We had a 2006 Argentinian house red which was delicious and about £20 a bottle. I think it was a Terruno Cabernet Sauvignon. No room for pudding although we all had coffees. I will definitely be back. |
