Review by Alex Da from London
Went there last night with my brother and friends to celebrate his coming back from USA. Had a lovely 2 course meal, 4 of us tucked into our starters: calamares, carpaccio, (very succulent!) focaccia, before going after the mains which included: gnocci which were deliciously full and round, rich and meaty lasagna, mushroom risotto, pennette ragu and bruschetta. Think we may have been a bit too over zealous with the ordering as I couldnt finish my main, delicious though it was, as the food was full of flavour and a little richer than my usual palate's expectation. I would recommend it for groups of friends, as well as a romantic tete a tete because it has a very laid back atmosphere, waiters are friendly but not overfamiliar and on your case all the time - they knew when to top up our prosecco and when to leave us be. This is a little gem just round the corner from London's busy investment area and I'm very glad I found it. |
